As you would say, Austin, facts please:

Site the factual evidence that a single major urban police force - NY,
LA, DC, Phila, Atlanta, Miami, Huston, Dallas, St. Louis, Chicago,
Pittsburgh, Denver, LA, Seattle, Portland, San Fran, San Diego,
Albequerqe, Phoenix, et al - has inflated numbers at demonstrations -
NOT inflated crime rates to boost budgets (which we know went on for
decades, fed by Hoover's FBI) - to exaggerate their (the demonstrations?
The police forces?) importance.

That was then, this is now ;-)  I KNOW that certain police departments
intentionally "look" for "trouble" in order to exaggerate their
"importance".
