And to make it worse, the new Mini does not have the charm
of Lucas Electric systems with the Heisenberg uncertainty of
working or not working.  It used to be a crap shoot when starting
a British car.  And we never even got Las Vegas odds!

I remember, years ago when getting into my British sports car
my girl friend at the time giving me a lecture on Schroedingers
cat vs. the car;  "Is it dead or alive?"
