Marc, Marc, Marc...and you call your self a Lucas aficionado.  Shame on you.
You're NOT supposed to *really* fix it.  That ruins the "charm".  Just get
out a hammer, and give it a light rap on the side.  THAT makes it good to
go.

Cripes, you obviously never owned an MG with a "faulty" fuel pump.  EASY
"fix" right from the driver's seat!
