i just tried printing in black only on enhanced matte paper (using matte
black ink) and while the resulting image looked kinda cool and had no color
cast, it was very grainy looking such that the quality seemed a lot less.
note that it does not use the light black when doing this, only the black
cartridge.

Subject: [Leica] No color cast with Epson 2200

I am using grayscale images with Photoshop Elements 2.0 and the
Epson 2200 with an iMac.  My B&W images look great without a
color cast.  I'm not sure what I'm doing differently to get a neutral
B&W image.
