lea,

i am also very very slow with focusing my M6 and i've only had it for eight
months.

i do have the 1.25 magnifier on my .58 which helps greatly with the 75
summilux.

and one think i keep forgetting is that with my 35mm summicron its actually
hard to be out of focus as long as you're in the general ballpark and not
completely wide open.

i've been practicing with setting the focusing range and metering beforehand
which makes it as fast as with an autofocus SLR.

but i'm not there yet! practice practice practice!
