If you're considering buying a Hasselblad, the VERY LEAST you need to
do is get yourself a book (Wildi's "Hasselblad Manual" comes to mind)
and surf the net to learn as much as you can about this system. Like
Leica, it's vast and, like Leica (SLRs), there are certain models that
you may want to avoid, depending upon your budget or interests.

Some *starting* points:

http://medfmt.8k.com/mf/hassy2k.html#parts

http://medfmt.8k.com/mf/cameras.html (Scroll down to "Hasselblad")

One point worth remembering: while the 500 series cameras (and lenses)
have undergone many "tweaks" over the years, people made stunning
photographs even with the early stuff. Much like with Leica, in fact.

Good luck,

M.
