Tim, I store Xtol the same way Mark does-in 250ml bottles, that way it is premeasured to use 1:3 or 1:1. I use brown wide mouth bottles which are easy to fill. Xtol also keeps a long time in full well sealed bottles and I haven't had a problem since I started storing it this way. I hope this helps.
