On rewind knob drag, my M3 had been modified to prevent that
"unwinding" phenomenon when letting go of the knob in mid-
rewind.  I understand that it involves putting a fiber washer in
the "innards".  I love it!  I will have it done on my M2 at its first
CLA.  It might work on the M4 thru M7, but I don't know if the
spindly little crank and u-joint could take the added torque.
