Subject: [Leica] Difficult customer fun ...

Hi folks,

Get this. Yesterday, as I was shooting the last few teams at a club
after a 9 week stint, I handed over team and portrait prints to a
female coach, of an U14 girls team from the week before. Nice young
ladies, mainly. But with the first of the two team photos I took, the
girl standing next to the coach had poked her tongue out, sort of at
the coach. The lab had printed 8 of each frame, so half of the girls
would be getting the pokey one, and half not.

The coach headed off, then came back, having noticed the tongue, and
furious. I said "I thought you'd be cross that only half the girls
are getting a copy of that one. Those who've missed out will be
upset." That really pissed her off! She realised her bullying wasn't
going to work, started with a little tantrum, and then tried to rope a
few other customers in. I asked her to see if the girl with the tongue
wanted to pay for a re-shoot. That sent her ballistic. Stormed off in
a huff. Sheesh! Get a life lady!

Maybe it was handy I had just taken the monopod off my Nikon ...

:-) Rick.
