Yes the digital backs for Hasselblad hare safely at eleven thousand
dollars way over the zone that me or most people would consider getting one.

I think for Hasselblad to survive and other medium format cameras
they'll have to subsidize (just like beef) a Digital back to bring it
down to two or three grand. They'll take a loss with each back sold but
get to keep the company. Every day lots of Hasselblads are put on the
block because people who've just bought a Nikon or Canon feel they have
no use for film any more. And they make that decision really fast. And
seem have no allegiance to the Hasselblads which served them so well for
so many years.

And what might happen is they'll do it for 645 but not 6x6. That will be frustrating.
