Just back from travels to California, for a week with friends, antique
cars, and general frolic.

Here are two very different views, one reverent

Another less so

Both shot on the new Velvia 100. First used a Summilux 50, at full
aperture and 1/15 of a second. Second used a pre-asph Summicron 35 at
about 5.6 at 1/250.

I strongly recommend any LUGger passing through San Luis Obispo, CA to
meet up with Joe Codispoti. He's a terrific guy, superb raconteur and
excellent scout for great views of the coast and even better
restaurants. Joe and I were stalking the model in the second picture
for some time; unfortunately, Joe wasn't able to catch the breeze, while
I got lucky.
