Subject: [Leica] Eyes...

Folks,

Some lenses have eyes, some don't. I understand that these eyes are used to
magnify the image in the viewfinder on the M cameras so, for instance, the
90mm frame lines can be used with the 135mm lens. But sometimes I see Leica
R lenses advertised with eyes.

What's the point of eyes on an R lens when what you see in the viewfinder
is what the lens sees anyway??

Thanks,

	Tom
