Well, the way I usually work is to scan the whole roll first, and then ask 
questions later :-) since it is "painless" to do so, except for storage 
space. Out of the 36, I'd expect may be 4 to 5 decent enough for 8x10, may 
be another 4 to 5 good enough for smaller prints / web pics for friends.

BTW, do owning Leica entitles people to make biting remarks?
