Martin,

David Allen Harvey (National Geographic Staff photographer for years) 
told me that he often pushed Kodachrome 200 to 500 because the magenta 
bias of the film was emphasized by pushing. His purpose was to 
compensate for the green of fluorescent light. It wasn't perfect, but 
it was better than using filters in many situations.

So I would say that there must be a pretty strong bias to magenta in 
the film. :-)
