Subject: RE: [Leica] Competition -- Leica or Digital -- you tell me!

Pardon the sudden intrusion. I usually lurk at a safe distance but I just
got home after hanging some work and I feel sort of lucky. At first I
thought I was looking at scanned film. The shadows remind me of the grainy
junk that I fight with in my own scans. However, after clicking on the
image and bringing up the next photo (is this cheating?), I noticed the
refresh/ scan lines on the monitor behind you are dead horizontal. Every
lugger knows that a horizontally travelling cloth shutter curtain (such as
that found on the M$-P) renders refresh lines as distinctly diagonal <g>.
Assuming the same camera made both pics, I got to go with the Canon. Glad
you raised the challenge. Now, bring- it- on!
