Subject: [Leica] More Leica decisions to make... god help me

After much angst and uncertainty I bit the bullet and bought a MP. Now my
kit includes the MP, a M6TTL, 35 ASPH, CV 28 f1.9, 50 f2 Summicron, and 90
f2 Summicron.

All well and good, but I am now considering a couple of "enhancements". I
find the 90 to be nice glass indeed; particularly well suited for sneaky
candid portraiture, but it is a boat anchor and a pain in the ass to carry
around when a slower (and smaller/lighter) lens would suit just fine.

I'm thinking about getting a 90 f2.8 for general use (and keeping the 90 f2
of course). I believe that there are four Leica 90's that have the 39mm
filter size and the current Elmarit with 46mm filter size.

I'm hoping for some real-life suggestions of which of these lenses would be
a best choice for a user lens (rarity is irrelevent to me as a deciding
factor). Lens hood availability and affordable cost considerations and the
fact that I am shooting B&W these days might be factors in the recomendation
game. Size/weight/image quality are my major considerations.

The second - and far less acute - "enhancement" is to unload the M6TTL and
get a M6 with the original shutterspeed dial to make transitioning between
the "right' way to turn vs the "wrong" way to turn a no-brainer when using
both the MP and M6 bodies at the same time... or....going in a completely
different and emotionally driven direction, dumping the M6TTL and buying an
M4, or possibly a M3/2 just for the pleasure of being able to play with nice
toys while still having a back-up body for insurance.

Any of this make sense? Have I gone over the edge?

thanks (and sorry for the totally on topic content... I'll relay my
experiences about attempting to retro-fit my old 50 f2 screw mount Summitar
onto my Nikon CoolPix 995 next post).

cheers
