All "you nattering nabobs of negativism" what did you expect the the 
marriage (or shotgun wedding?) of Leica to Hermes to produce, a Digital 
MP?

This new MP is just the thing to go along with your Hermes riding 
boots, saddle and your "string of poloponies"

If you thought the new MP covering felt good...just wait till you feel 
that buttery smooth Hermes covering and strap...all for only about $4K 
extra!

Well, "what you see is what you get"; let's face it, along with the new 
7 color (or is it only 5?) kits for the small Leica digital, this is 
probably is the way of Leica's future.

By the way, do you really think any of the profit from this will get to 
Leica R&D?
