Absolutely. As bizarre and twisted as the show is, its easily in the
running for having the best writing on network television. My kids have
always loved it, and I just to dismiss it out of hand. But when I
started watching on and off I realized just how 'subversive' with a
small "s" it is.

Don't knock the Simpsons, it's dumb looking TV made for intelligent
people, if dumb people like it too that's not so bad. Just because
Homer's a moron doesn't mean it's not intelligent.
