Dan -

I took their correspondence course when I was living in Iran in the 
1970's.  I had never had any photography lessons before and it starts out 
very basic.  The lessons were very good and the critiques by the professors 
seemed right on target.  I found the books very helpful even many years 
later when I was teaching photography.
