Ted

I can point out that the late and quite lamented CAMERA & DARKROOM magazine
ran a contest shortly before its demise for the BEST roll of 36-esponsure
35mm negatives. Not one person entered, apparently, as none of us want ALL
our pictures on a given roll examined, and certainly NOT to the edges!

Some of the best pictures I have taken have been shot as grab-shots and I
am delighted to get a small area of the negative which I can then enlarge
and print, a virtue of great films and great cameras. Sure, I have done
some grand work with Medium Format gear, especially with Rolleiflex, Super
Ikonta B, and Hasselblad SWC gear. But, all in all, the primary utility of
the Leica RF is that it encourages quick photography, and that often
demands severe cropping.
