Clearly, the LHSA and its Asian confederates blew it big time by not waiting for the
next Leica -- the M8 -- to shake loose their big moneymaker. Can't they just throw
cash at Solms and get those stodgy Germans to issue a camera with something like Ein
Stueck-type leatherette, but this time studded with hundreds of embossed 8s?  With
bargain-priced f:8 88mm lenses (they did have a 66mm once upon a time, no?). Hot
zigiddy.
