Anybody who is using digital also has a computer and would be totally aware
of any changes in connections!

And current computers will be updated as needed. I didn't buy my computer
or my digital camera, expecting them to be up-to-date 10 years from now. I
do expect to be able to use them, but only if I keep up with upgrades and,
if I really want to be up-to-date, replace them when they are
obsolete. That's also true with my coffee-maker, my food-processor, my
car, and quite a few other home appliances!!
