the DMC-LC1 seems to be the way to elicit interest in a curmudgeon like me,
it does look nice.

however, correct me if i am wrong, but isn't an f2.0 lens on a sensor
1/4 the linear dimensions of a 35mm camera equivalent to an f8.0 on a
35mm when it comes to depth of field?

e.g., at 12.5mm and f2.0 and COC=0.006 the depth of field at 6 feet would be
about 5'3" to 7 feet, which is about the DOF of a 35mm camera 50mm f8.0
COC=0.025.

that's a bit slow.
