The pictures were taken yesterday and posted about 2 hours later. I used a Nikon D100. The color space was set to Nikon's III (sRGB with strengthened greens and blues, I think). Everything was hand-metered since I used an old 24mm AI Nikkor lens and the D100 can't meter with the older lenses. You're right though, my standard films are Agfa for transparencies and Fuji for negatives. I don't know why. It just worked out that way. Yesterday I was fascinated by the colors in the dampness. We were walking around in a cloud of fog. I wanted that immediate gratification and used digital. Kit ... to say that it gets "dark" in Scandinavia ... well, Nathan explained. Dark is dark ... the nights are no darker than anywhere else. It's the days that do not (usually) get very light. I have a little project on the side trying to capture this. (I'm trying to turn something miserable into something constructive :) ). This walk in the forest was part of the project. It was as light as it was going to get. I think these shots were taken right before noon. The thing that worried me the most was: "Varning, jakt pågår" ... a sign on the gravel road leading into the woods: "Warning, ongoing hunt".
