Also I rather have good autofocus with good confirmation, than poor manual focus, just for the sake of having manual focus. I must say I have little faith that Leica can pull off a good package, and keep the price decent. That said, I am moving slowly back to shooting more film. After 3 years of giving digital my best, I still like film better for most of my photography. My position is contrary to many: while a digital camera will always be part of my photographic toolbox, I anticipate that I will be shooting more and more film, though not necessarily 35mm film. I expect my film output in 2004 to exceed my digital output for the first time in 4 years. The key for me is to find a good scanning solution, which I haven't quite yet, but am getting close. (I am seeking around 2000dpi "proof scan" of an entire roll of 36 at around $10 per roll, with an occasional "quality scan" of 5000dpi at say $5 to $10 per scan; if you know of any such service, let me know, soon). - - Phong Christopher Williams wrote: > This will help: > > http://www.imaging-resource.com/NEWS/1069776394.html > > Chris - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
