I just turn the sharpening off, works cool. Of course here are some artifact rich image from the Panasonic http://www.sonc.com/st_joe_bricks.htm and this: http://www.sonc.com/napoleon.htm I heart my Panasonic. I only hope I can afford the new one when it comes, cuz I aint gonna sell any more film cameras, and that is final (nor trade) SonC >> MR> Well with the DIGILUX 1 that's out now the Panasonic software in the MR> Panasonic is no good it's got way too much unsharp mask built into it MR> that you can't override. Artifact rich images. Great for archeological digs! MR> So its worth it to get the DIGILUX instead of the Panasonic. MR> I bet Panasonic wont make that mistake again. MR> Leica might have been in charge of the writing of their own software for MR> their version of the camera. So in a sense in a basic way it really is a MR> Leica. They used wooded mallets to help write the early software. That's MR> a known fact. Some of those yes's did not fit in with the nose.
