The word "hack" has so many non related meanings that I'm sure have
changed very recently that you'd have to be in these guys little group
to know exactly what they meant. It might even have not been a complete
insult. A main meaning seems to be "someone who works for money." I've
had worse things said about me.

What do they call it when conflicting non related meanings combine to
make third meanings? There should be a word for that. If not one should
be invented.
