	My experience, in actual usage, is that the 35mm f/1.4 Summilux 
and 35mm f/2.8 Summaron-RF basically won't flare no matter what 
you do, and that a shade isn't needed. I shot a party using the 
Summaron-RF w/o shade and 35mm f/2 Summicron with shade. There 
was no comparison. The Summicron had a lot more flare, about the 
same as my uncoated 35mm f/3.5 Elmar from 1937. I don't think the 
Summicron's been on the camera since.
