Robot I(?) Luftwaffen Eigentum 24x24 motor wind camera w/7.5cm Tele-Xenar
3.8 Schneider Luftwaffen lens. Serial #F56786-5. Camera has no viewfinder,
lens is a fixed focus with apertures from 3.8-22. Lens is black and has the
Luftwaffen engraving on the back in white letters. Glass is uncoated with
slight fogging, dust, but no scratches. The camera is black with some paint
loss, wear, marks. The Luftwaffen engraving has had an attempted defiling.
Area around the engraving is brassy, but the letters still show through. My
guess is a soldier may have done it.
All speeds work and the camera takes excellent photos. The lens shows
vignetting on corners, but this is normal for the 75mm lenses from what I've
read. The speed dial is a little tight, a CLA would probably fix this. The
bottom tripod mount has been covered up with a kind of vulcanite material,
not sure if this was a factory job or not. Both film canisters are included.
