That is handy! Do a manual transmission, and now we're talking. 
My wife doesn't let me do any of the heavy work anymore, since I work with
my hands to make a living. But when I was younger I've rebuilt just about
everything rebuildable, the exception being an auto transmission. Growing up
in Southern CA make's just about anyone into a motor-head.
Now, I feel just fine being able to go trough the electrics with an ohm
meter.
