I've always thought that a strobe shooting through a slit would illuminate a
thin band of snow flakes while leaving the rest of the scene undisturbed.

I don't live where it snows more than once a decade though so I've never had the
chance to try it out and I'm really not too interested in doing so either.

Fog now...THAT I get.
