Subject: [Leica] BDs forgotten film

Bonsoir M. Colen,

  You may be talking about Robe Noire (black dress/robe).  Very poignant
movie about this silly idea they had, to force religious conversion in
Canada in 1750 or so.

  As for other significant canadian (?) movies, well the following titles,
favorites of mine, (all Quebec movies actually) are to be seen;

1- Le declin de l'empire Americain
2-Les invasions barbares  (Oscar nomination potential some claim)
3- L'homme qui plantait des arbres, an animation film (Oscar winner I think)
4- Le chandail (the sweater) superb animation film about the influence of
one Maurice Rocket Richard (the greatest hockey player of all time) on
Quebec society during the 40s and 50s.  A must, except if you are a Maple
leaf fan...:-) .
