This is my hacked-together 30mm extension tube made from an old 14198 1:1 tube originally made for the 60mm Macro-Elmarit-R. The tube was a parts donor for other projects; to make it perfect for the long Telyts I removed everything that wasn't nessesary: the collar the covers the 60's aperture ring, auto-diaphragm and metering linkages, and light baffles that constricted the throat of the tube, turning it into a dumb 30mm of extension. I also used my daughter's cast-off black fingernail polish to darken some reflective surfaces in the tube. I wish it was a flat black but it's better than nothing.
