Did you use  Digital Ice or similar manipulation 
in your scanning? I have a recollection that these 
sorts of manipulations do not get along well with 
Scala....

I have always been happy with Scala....love it, 
but have never used Ice or other in the 
scanning.... as my memory may be incorrect 
...hopefully others will clarify this....Steve
