As Peter has suggested, I also find it much faster and
more instinctive to meter, set the exposure and focus
with an M camera than to "undo" the frequently
incorrect decisions made by the program of Minilux and
other fully automated point and shoot cameras.  This
especially comes into play when using narrow exposure
latitude color reversal films or when the point of
focus is not in the center of the frame.
