I took my Mamiya 6 to Italy last year and was well pleased with the results
recorded on Ilford Pan F. In prior years, I have taken a Rolleiflex TLR
and/or a folding Super Ikonta.

The Mamiya was the best of the lot for ease of handling and results.

I have only used the 150mm lens a couple of times and have not had the best
results. Using it hand held may have resulted in camera movement.

I plan to experiment with it on a tripod with faster film, HP 5, in order to
see if camera movement was the problem.

For my trip to Russia this year, I plan to use my Mamiya 6 and my Rollei 35S
for black and white film. I will use a couple of M Leicas for color.

Best regards,
Roland Smith
Oakland, California
