Thanks for all the answers.... so I guess the secret to using this bag with
an M outfit is to NOT have a 50 Summilux, 35/1.4 ASPH or 3E lens attached to
the body... it is too big to fit.... But it is OK to use the 35 Summicron
( non-ASPH) or 50 Summicron or Elmar attached. The additional lenses are
OK to fit as they are small in diameter and will fit in the bag wherever you
want them. Just not attached to the body..

I use a Domke F6 bag now. It does fit the 3E on the body along with (
potentially) 4 other lenses and "stuff". It is not as narrow as the F803,
and therefore other lenses fit fine on the body. Therefore my original
question.....

Dimensions.......for those among us of the measurement persuasion......( me
especially)
F6.. 12x6x7.......... the narrowness is 6 inches... enough to hold
the M6 + 3E Lens attached
F803 ... 13x4x9......... the narrowness is 4 inches.... enough to hold the
M6 + 35 Summicron ( non-ASPH) attached....
