It definitely does show on some exposures, it is seen as an odd
lozenge shape with soft edges on the left side of a landscape format
shot: as though a white ribbon had blown in front of the lens. It can
sometimes be seen (rarely) on a cloudy bright day but is most clear
into direct sunshine.
