By that twisted logic, Leica gear (or anything else above a bare necessity required for simply living) should have no place in a world of suffering human beings either, being that the typical *used* M kit represents a fabulous sum in most developing nations, let alone the princely amount represented by a new kit.

Those who do not, cannot or elect not to have children, frequently have a pet take the same place in their lives, and your comments are profoundly inflammatory to them, even if they use a worthless 15 year-old busted pickup to take their precious companion to the vet for a simple checkup.

If you feel so strongly about it, Sam, please sell your Leica gear and donate the proceeds to the impoverished people you refer to in your original message.
