I never said there was anything wrong with shopping at K-Mart. Wal-Mart 
or Starbucks. I choose not to, when I can. I have a problem with the 
corporations and their activities - forcing out competition and driving 
down wages while demanding tax benefits from the cities and towns they 
occupy isn't healthy for anyone, regardless of where you lie on the 
political spectrum.

But this gets into why people are forced to struggle on low incomes, 
and that's a thread that would make the pet surgery thread look sunny 
in comparison.
