Is this a competition?

If you run out of room, put a disk quota on people.  If somebody abuses the
gallery and posts nothing but crap, deal with that on a case by case basis.

If the idea is to encourage people to upload their pictures when they've
been too shy to do so before, the last thing ya want is have an axe looming
over their pictures.  :)

I find the whole scoring somewhat distasteful.  Why do I care what the
average score of a picture is?  This is about expressing ourselves through
art.  Not about pigeon-holing our work into 5 discrete bins.  I wouldn't
mind seeing comments along with each photo.  But just a number?  That makes
our pictures into virtual prisoners.
