Yup, I got the names wrong....

Selenium cells are the no battery types... they do oxidize and die... and
replacement cells are a "if you can find them" issue
CDS Cells are the older cells in the Lunasix... yes they need occasional
calibration
SPD cells are the silicon photodiode in the newer meters.... the best for
longevity
