Hi Doug.

That really is pretty close to the way these little guys look.  Very, 
very bright.    And the scanned image and print are dull compared to 
the tranny.  It could be the Velvia doing its oversaturation thing but 
having watched them through binos it looks pretty close.  Velvia is 
just so tricky in bright sunlight.  Still, its what I had on the day.

Modul lens.  R8, electronic release, mirror pre release, big manfrotto 
with telescopic support from leg to camera body to steady it all up.  
Taken at 125/6.8 I seem to recall.  A fun day where things worked.
