Hey chill out guys... may be an easy answer... ;-) 

I'd hate to go to Hawaii lugging all the camera equiptment in the tropical 
weather!  So why not just take a simple point and shoot camera.  Minilux if 
you like to stick Leica and films.  Contax T3 and/or Ricoh GR-1 are also 
great PS cameras.  Any "pro-sumer" digi-cam may even be better.  

Forget about serious shooting! Just relax on the beach with a couple of 
books to read... Now the questionis is what books  :-)
