It's not so bleak, Phong. Marketing is just a way of getting information
out there and in a democracy, you need that. It's not realistic with
politicians up on their soap-boxes any more. They just don't reach out to
enough.

Granted ... marketing places pretty high demands on the consumers
(filtering, interpreting etc).
