Hello Geir,
I started with the G5 last fall and used it until I got the digilux 2 6
weeks ago. And if I'd not required the digilux 2 for my Leica Seminar
presentation in October I'd have stayed with the G5.

It's an excellent camera with good lens and generally fast operation. I used
it to shoot high school basketball games during the winter and I could shoot
"stop action" players in the air jumping with the ball to the basket.

On overall quality the G5 is great and at the moment although I don't need
the one I have as I'm just using the Digilux 2, I'm reluctant to sell it
until the fall.

If you get one I'm sure you'll be more than pleased with it.
