You could ask a Leica dealer to get you a demo D-LUX if you want a nice
small point-and-shoot that isn't "full price." :)

Thanks for reply and advice.I use a nikon D1X myself and want a rather cheap
P&S cam for mu gf in the Philippines.I did see the digilux 2 but it is far
to expencive as a gift,but i liked the Digilux myself and some time i would
like to have one.I was offered a Canon G5 how did you like that?
It might also be to expencive but i did not get any price yet,so i have to
check at ebay to see what the price is.I have bought a lot of camera stuff
on ebay but would prefer to buy from some here on the list.
