i have a summitar 933275 it does indeed have 6 dome-shaped aperture blades.
there seem to also be 2 sets of blades in total set of 6 cut with straight
edges, and then 6 with curved edges.  the latter do not ever seem to form
any part of the iris.

it's a curious design; i never noticed it as i have a weakness for shooting
all things wide-open.
