Try "Patrick O'Brian" on Google. Loads of stuff. Seventeen books in the 
series if I remember correctly. Starts with Master and Commander. I 
haven't read in a couple of years; when we get moved and unpacked from 
storage. I'll re-read. Very rich and detailed. You may want a companion 
book, there are lots of quaint nautical terms.
