[Leica] Looking for 28/2 and current 28/2.8 pics (and advice)

I'm shopping for a 28, and I'd like something nice.

I've pretty much narrowed my options to a used
or grey market current Leica 28/2 or 28/2.8 (E46).

Used ones of either seem pretty hard to come by,
but I think I've found a mint- current Elmarit for
around $1K.  Tony Rose has grey 28/2's listed for
around $1.9K. 

So, while I'm wondering about the speed difference,
pondering Putt's comments on the 28/2s wiry bokeh,
price differences and what not....

I'm looking for as many sample pics taken with either
lens as I can get my hands on. So any pointers to sample
pics would be greatly appreciated. Good shots, bad shots,
color or B&W. I'm trying to get a good handle the two
lenses' respective "characters."

BTW, this lens will complete my target  RF kit - at least
for the remainder of 2004 :-)  CV 50/1.5, Leica 28/2(.8)
and CV 21/4.
